After reading that last entry, some of you might have questions. Or at least one of you has one question. Is NS really D's actual legal other wife? Well, not legally. However, they are as close to married as you can get without involving God or the government. In October of 2003, he went up to Ohio and they said vows and got handfasted (a pagan commitment ceremony). He goes up there every couple months for a couple weeks to stay with her and her two boys. They talk on the phone a lot (a LOT!) which makes me really glad we have unlimited free long distance with AT&T. We send her $100 every month so she has a 'moving expenses' fund when they move down here this summer. She and her younger son (not D's son) will be moving in with us for a little while till she gets a job and they have a place of their own. Or at least that's the basic plan. Subject to change, of course. But now, it's time for me to go get my day started.
